Frank was born in London. He has worked as a door-to-door salesman, photographer and TV studio technician. He then trained in finance and has worked in a wide range of industries, including the tech industry in Silicon Valley and the advertising business in London. He has also worked as a financial journalist.

Assignments have taken him across the world, including less travelled destinations such as Myanmar and South Sudan.

The Bearer is the first of a series featuring Mike Brennan, a man driven by the need to keep his family together but with an equally strong determination to see justice done.

Brennan is a keen student of human behaviour and has powerful analytical skills. But no-one is immune. That kind of work can take its toll.
